Easily fix up soft, creamy mints with that throwback minty taste. These colorful candies are perfect for parties and always a crowd-pleaser.

# What You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
02 - 1/2 teaspoon peppermint or your favorite extract
03 - 1/4 cup soft unsalted butter
04 - 1/3 cup condensed milk, the sweetened kind
05 - 3 1/4 cups powdered sugar, plus more if it's sticky
06 - Food colors, any shades you want

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Spread your finished candies on a baking sheet. Let them sit out at room temp for a whole day to dry. Tuck them in the fridge for weeks or pop them in the freezer for a couple months.
02 - Break off a big chunk of colored dough. Roll it out into a rope on your board. Use a pizza cutter to slice it into small pieces that are easy to eat.
03 - Split your dough into a few parts. Put some drops of food dye in each one and squish it around till the color blends in. You'll see cool swirls everywhere.
04 - Dump in the powdered sugar, condensed milk, flavor extracts, and vanilla to your butter. Mix till it turns into dough. If it's sticking to your hands, add a little more powdered sugar and knead it in.
05 - Whip up the soft butter in a bowl with your mixer. Give it around half a minute for it to get smooth and creamy.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Gloves make coloring easier and keep your hands from getting dyed.
