Quick Choco-Oat Treats (Printable Version)

Fast choco-peanut butter treat whipped up with oats.

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1/2 cup butter without salt, chopped into tbsp chunks
02 - 2 cups white sugar
03 - 1/2 cup milk
04 - 1/4 cup plain cocoa powder
05 - 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
06 - 2 teaspoons real vanilla extract
07 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
08 - 3 cups quick-cooking oats

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Cover two big cookie sheets with parchment or silicone mats. Put them aside for later.
02 - Throw the butter, white sugar, milk, and cocoa in a medium pot. Heat it up while giving it a stir now and then. When it starts bubbling all over, let it bubble for another minute.
03 - Take the pot off the heat and mix in the peanut butter, vanilla, and salt until it's all smooth. Dump in the quick oats and stir until everything's mixed up good.
04 - Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mix for each cookie onto your prepared trays. Let them sit out until they get firm, about 20-30 minutes.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Keep these treats in a sealed container up to 3 days on your counter or 1 week in your fridge. You can also stick them in the freezer if you want them to last longer.
