Tater Tot Skewers (Printable Version)

Baked tater tots loaded with cheese, bacon, and onions on a stick—snack time just got more exciting.

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1–2 green onions, chopped up
02 - A handful of frozen tater tots (about 48)
03 - 60 ml beef bacon bits
04 - 120 ml shredded cheddar cheese
05 - Sour cream for dipping

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Take the hot skewers out of the oven. Sprinkle what's left of your green onions on top. Grab some sour cream on the side and dig in right away.
02 - Toss the baking sheet back in the oven and give it 5 to 7 minutes, just long enough for the cheese to get all gooey.
03 - Line another tray with parchment. Put your tater tot skewers on it and scatter half of those green onions, cheddar, and bacon bits all over.
04 - After baking, let the tater tots chill off a bit so you don't burn your hands. Slide 4 to 6 tots onto each skewer.
05 - Get your oven nice and hot (218°C or 425°F). Spread tater tots out on a baking sheet so they aren't crowded. Bake for 28 minutes. Flip them once about halfway.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Make sure the tater tots are crisp before skewering them. They'll keep their shape better when you do the last bake.
