Mango Matcha Iced (Printable Version)

Chill out with almond milk, juicy mango, and matcha stacked into a sweet, super-refreshing iced treat.

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit Base

01 - 1 cup mango chunks, either fresh (peeled, seeded, chopped) or frozen

→ Matcha Layer

02 - 2 teaspoons matcha powder (pick a good one for better taste)
03 - 2 or 3 tablespoons water

→ Liquid & Sweetener

04 - 1 cup almond milk, split in half (any milk works: oat, coconut, whatever you like)
05 - Up to 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, your choice and only if you want it sweeter

→ Serve

06 - A few ice cubes
07 - Tiny pinch sea salt

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Toss a little sea salt on top, give everything a good stir so the flavors mix, and you're ready to sip.
02 - Slowly add your matcha mix over the milk for that pretty swirl. Want it sweeter? Just drizzle honey or maple syrup on top now.
03 - First, plop the mango blend into a tall glass. Next, fill the glass with ice cubes until halfway up. Then pour the rest of your almond milk in.
04 - Throw matcha powder and a splash of water (2 or 3 tablespoons) in a bowl. Whisk until it’s totally smooth—no lumps. Frother helps here if you like it extra silky.
05 - Blend mango chunks with half a cup of almond milk until you’ve got something creamy and smooth.
06 - If using a whole mango, peel it, remove the seed and chop it, or you can just grab frozen pieces to get one cup.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Sweetness changes if your mango is super ripe or not. Fresh, juicy mangoes and fancy matcha powder really make it pop, so grab the good stuff if you can.
