Beefy Cheese Hoagie (Printable Version)

Hoagie loaves jammed with flavorful beef, creamy mushroom mix, and plenty of cheddar. Hits the comfort spot every time.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
02 - Salt and pepper, as you like
03 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
04 - 1 1/4 cups canned or homemade cream of mushroom soup
05 - 1 clove garlic, chopped
06 - 1 green bell pepper, diced small
07 - 2 teaspoons Montreal steak seasoning
08 - 1 small onion, diced
09 - 1 pound ground beef
10 - 2 tablespoons neutral oil like avocado
11 - 6 hoagie rolls

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Spoon that hot cheesy beef mix right into your hoagie rolls and enjoy while warm.
02 - Flip off the stove and dump in your shredded cheddar. Stir around so it all gets gooey and melted into the beef.
03 - Toss in the cream of mushroom soup and Worcestershire. Salt and pepper it up. Give it a good stir and let it barely bubble for five minutes so everything hangs out together.
04 - Drop in the bell pepper and garlic. Stir around for three minutes, just until they're soft and smell awesome.
05 - Get a big skillet hot over medium-high and add oil. Throw in the beef and onion. Cook for 7 to 10 minutes. You want the beef browned and the onions see-through. Sprinkle over the steak seasoning while cooking.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Filling thicker than you'd like? Pour in a little milk until it looks good to you.
02 - Want less fat? Drain off the grease after browning the beef or just use lean beef to start.
03 - Craving some heat? Shake in some sriracha or your favorite hot sauce.
