# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 cup butter
02 - 12 ounces chopped semi-sweet chocolate
03 - 1 ½ cups sugar
04 - 4 large eggs

08 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
09 - 11-ounce bag unwrapped caramels
10 - ⅓ cup heavy cream

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Set your oven to 350ºF. Put non-stick foil in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
02 - Put butter and semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat until they're smooth together.
03 - Dump sugar, eggs, and vanilla into your chocolate mix and whisk it all up. Mix in flour and salt until everything looks good.
04 - Pour half the mix evenly into your lined pan. Pop it in the oven for 20 minutes, then let it sit for another 20.
05 - Throw caramels and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl and heat till smooth. Pour this warm gooey stuff over your cooled brownie base and spread it around with an offset spatula.
06 - Warm up your leftover brownie mix in the microwave just a few seconds. Gently spread this over your caramel layer.
07 - Scatter chocolate chips on top of everything. Stick it back in the oven for 20 minutes.
