Tequila Sunrise Pops (Printable Version)

Bold, chill popsicles packed with tequila and tangy citrus. Super fun and great for hot days.

# What You'll Need:

→ Juice Blend

01 - 30 ml fresh lime juice
02 - 80 ml pineapple juice
03 - 180 ml orange juice

→ Alcohol

04 - 120 ml silver tequila

→ Garnish and Additions

05 - 9 lime slices, to decorate
06 - 24 ml grenadine (about 4½ teaspoons), for layering

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - First, grab a big pitcher and stir together the silver tequila, orange juice, lime juice, and pineapple juice until everything looks smooth.
02 - Next, fill up 9 small paper cups or moulds with your liquid blend, leaving about a finger’s width from the top.
03 - Slowly drip about ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) grenadine right in the middle of each cup. If you do it slowly, you'll get that cool sunrise look with the grenadine settling down.
04 - Pop those cups in your freezer for at least an hour.
05 - While they start freezing, slice up 9 thin lime wheels. Check if they fit your cups—use an extra cup for size if you want.
06 - When the hour's up, take your cups out. Cut a slit (1–2 cm or so) in the middle of each lime slice, push a popsicle stick through, then sit the lime at the top of each semi-frozen pop so the stick goes almost all the way in but doesn't hit the bottom.
07 - Stick everything back in the freezer for 5 more hours—don't take them out until they're really solid.
08 - When they're frozen through, pull off the cups or moulds and grab your treat by the stick. Time to enjoy!

# Additional Notes:

01 - Pour your grenadine gently if you want layers that look great. If you've got time, let these freeze overnight for super easy unmoulding.
