01 -
Set out everything you'll need so it's all within reach.
02 -
Cover the steak with Cajun spice blend. Rest it for 10 minutes so the flavors sink in.
03 -
Heat olive oil in a big skillet over medium-high. Cook steak about 4-5 minutes per side until it's how you like it. Put it aside to rest.
04 -
Lower heat to medium and drop in the butter. Throw in your minced garlic and cook for a minute until it smells good.
05 -
Add your shrimp to the pan and stir them around for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink all over.
06 -
Add the heavy cream and chicken broth, giving everything a good stir. Let it bubble gently.
07 -
Add your Parmesan and stir until it's all melted and the sauce gets a bit thicker. Sprinkle in salt and black pepper how you like it.
08 -
While your sauce bubbles away, cut the rested steak into thin strips.
09 -
Put the sliced steak back into the pan with your shrimp and sauce. Gently toss everything together.
10 -
Turn off the heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve it up right away.
