Thai Spicy Pasta (Printable Version)

Thai-inspired noodles tossed in a spicy, tangy sauce, topped with peanuts and cilantro. Big on flavor, easy to pass around.

# What You'll Need:

→ Pasta

01 - 12 oz bowtie pasta

→ Dressing

02 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
03 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
04 - 1/4 cup honey
05 - 1/3 cup sesame oil
06 - 2 tablespoons veggie oil
07 - 1 or 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes

→ Garnishes

08 - 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
09 - 1/2 cup green onion, sliced
10 - 1/2 cup honey-roasted peanuts

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Right before serving, toss in the cilantro, green onions, and peanuts. Give it a gentle toss so everything mixes up. Serve cold.
02 - Wrap the bowl and set it in the fridge for at least four hours, or overnight if possible, to let everything get tasty together.
03 - Pour the dressing over the pasta while it’s still warm. Mix it all up so the pasta gets coated everywhere.
04 - Add honey, soy sauce, and salt into those hot oils. Take the pan off the heat and whisk until smooth and mixed.
05 - Put sesame oil and veggie oil in a little pot and warm them on medium. Toss in red pepper flakes and let it bubble for two minutes but don’t let it burn.
06 - Boil a big pot of salted water and cook your bowtie pasta as the package says. Strain and pop it in a big bowl.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Letting this chill in the fridge makes the flavors soak in better. Only use fresh herbs and nuts so you get awesome crunch and fresh smells.
