# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
02 - 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
03 - Salt, to taste
04 - Black pepper, to taste
05 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
06 - 60 grams unsalted butter
07 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
08 - 2 tablespoons honey
09 - 120 millilitres heavy cream
10 - 225 grams fettuccine or preferred pasta
11 - Reserved pasta cooking water, as needed
12 - Optional: Chopped parsley or green onions, for garnish

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, then drain. Reserve 120 millilitres of the pasta cooking water.
02 - Combine diced chicken with Cajun seasoning, a pinch of salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear for 6 to 8 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
04 - Reduce skillet heat to medium. Add butter and melt. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
05 - Add honey to the skillet and let simmer for 1 minute, stirring to blend.
06 - Pour in heavy cream and stir until smooth. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
07 - Return cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add drained pasta and combine gently. If needed, add reserved pasta water to reach desired sauce consistency.
08 - Divide among plates and serve immediately, garnished with parsley or green onions if desired.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For maximum flavour, use freshly ground black pepper and cook pasta just until al dente.
02 - Garnishes like fresh herbs add brightness and a burst of colour.
