Pour the cold slush into your favorite glasses. Add a little garnish if you want. Enjoy it right away.

Drop the cantaloupe from the freezer into your blender with the syrup, lime juice, vodka, and salt. Blend it up until you've got a soft icy mix.

Pour your syrup through a strainer to get rid of the mint bits. Toss the mint and let the syrup cool off completely.

Mix sugar, water, and mint leaves together in a small pan on medium heat. Stir around until the sugar melts and everything turns light green, usually 2–4 minutes.

Spread those cantaloupe cubes on a wax paper baking sheet. Pop the tray in the freezer and wait an hour or two until they're frozen solid.
