Rotel Sausage Balls (Printable Version)

Stuffed with spicy sausage and Rotel, these creamy, cheesy bites come out crispy and golden. Always a crowd-pleaser, no matter what you’re celebrating.

# What You'll Need:

→ Sausage Ball Mix

01 - 1 and a half cups Bisquick mix
02 - 8 ounces cream cheese at room temp
03 - 10 ounce can Rotel (tomatoes and green chilies), juice strained out
04 - 1 pound spicy breakfast sausage, raw
05 - 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Once they're baked, let 'em sit on the pan to cool a little. Move them over to your serving dish after that.
02 - Toss the tray in and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes. When they look browned and feel set, you're good.
03 - Scoop out some of the mix—about a tablespoon each—roll into balls an inch wide, and lay them on the tray. Don't crowd them.
04 - Now dump in your shredded cheese and that Bisquick. Stir everything so it all gets mixed up nicely.
05 - Use a big bowl to toss in the sausage, cream cheese, and drained tomatoes. Mash and mix 'til smooth.
06 - Crank up your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover your tray with parchment or one of those silicone mats.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Let the Rotel tomatoes drain well so things don't get too soggy and the sausage balls keep their form.
