Pink Lavender Lemonade (Printable Version)

Grab some Meyer lemons, strawberries, and lavender for this sweet, cheerful summer drink you’ll love sharing with friends.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 6 big juicy strawberries
02 - 2 fresh lavender sprigs
03 - 480 millilitres ice-cold water
04 - 480 millilitres plain water
05 - 480 millilitres fresh Meyer lemon juice
06 - 100 grams white sugar

→ Optional

07 - If you want, toss in a drop or two of lavender oil (food safe kind)

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Pour into glasses with lots of ice. Drink up right away.
02 - Pour everything through a fine sieve into a big jug so you can get rid of the bits. Add the chilled water and, if you're feeling fancy, add a couple drops of lavender oil. Give it all a good mix.
03 - Move the pan off the burner. Drop in the lavender sprigs and cut-up strawberries. Let those chill in the mix for around 15 minutes.
04 - Put the sugar, fresh lemon juice, and 480 millilitres of water in a pot. Heat up on medium. Stir until you can't see any more sugar and it's starting to bubble.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Want things a little sweeter and more flowery? Go with Meyer lemons. Don't have any? Regular ones do the job—just add more or less sugar till it tastes right.
