Cheesy Pepperoni Sandwich (Printable Version)

Toasty, gooey pepperoni sandwich with tasty garlic spread.

# What You'll Need:

→ Sandwich Basics

01 - 1 tbsp plain butter
02 - 4 pieces of Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bread
03 - 4 pieces mozzarella cheese, cut 1/8-inch thick
04 - 18 pieces pepperoni, nuked for 20 seconds and patted dry

→ Flavor Spread

05 - 3 tbsp plain butter
06 - 1/4 tsp parsley (fresh or dried works)
07 - 1/4 tsp Italian herb mix
08 - 1/4 tsp powdered garlic
09 - 1/8 tsp table salt

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Put your skillet on medium-low heat and melt the butter. Lay two bread slices next to each other. Stack each with one mozzarella slice, 9 pepperoni pieces, then another mozzarella slice. Top with the other bread pieces. Cook about 3 minutes per side until the cheese gets all melty.
02 - Grab a small bowl that's microwave-safe and dump in the butter. Heat till it's melted. Mix in your parsley, Italian herbs, garlic powder and salt.
03 - Grab your pastry brush and slather that garlic butter on both sides of your sandwich. Toss it back in the pan for 30 seconds on each side. Take it off the heat, throw some parmesan on top if you want, and serve with marinara sauce on the side.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Don't skip patting the pepperoni dry after microwaving - it'll keep your sandwich from getting soggy.
