Parmesan Garlic Chicken Grill (Printable Version)

Juicy chicken, gooey Parmesan, lots of garlic and herbs. Super simple, tastes amazing, made for sunny evenings.

# What You'll Need:

→ Marinade

01 - 60 ml olive oil
02 - 30 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
03 - 15 ml honey (great if you like it sweeter)
04 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
05 - 1 teaspoon mixed Italian herbs
06 - 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
07 - 0.5 teaspoon regular salt
08 - 0.25 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
09 - 25 grams Parmesan, grated

→ Chicken and Finishes

10 - Boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, 700–900 grams
11 - Chopped fresh parsley for sprinkling
12 - More Parmesan for topping

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - In a bowl, combine oil, lemon juice, honey, garlic, all your seasonings, and some Parmesan. Whisk it all up until it looks creamy.
02 - Drop the chicken into the bowl, make sure each piece gets covered. Wrap it up and let it sit in the fridge from 30 minutes to 4 hours—longer means more flavor.
03 - Fire up your grill around 200–220°C. Rub a slick of oil on the grates, that way nothing will stick.
04 - Set the marinated chicken on the grill. Let it go 5–7 minutes on a side. It's done when the middle hits 75°C and clear juice runs out.
05 - Add a bit more Parmesan to the chicken right before you pull it off the grill. Let it melt nicely in the last minute or two.
06 - Give your chicken about five minutes to relax after grilling. Then go ahead and throw on chopped parsley plus a little more Parmesan before eating.

# Additional Notes:

01 - No grill at home? Sear the chicken in a big frying pan on medium or shove it in an oven at 200°C for roughly 20–25 minutes.
02 - Want it super moist? Pick chicken thighs. Prefer lighter? Use the breasts.
03 - Really tasty with salad, pasta, or roasted veggies on the side.
