Share sandwiches right away so they're warm, soft, and extra tasty. If you like, toss some fruit or hash browns on the plate too.

Start with a pancake on your work surface, then add a slice of cheese. Next put the sausage patty on, followed by one egg square, and add bacon if you want. Cap it off with another pancake. Do this until you’ve built all 4 sandwiches.
03 -
Mix flour, milk, melted butter, egg, baking powder, maple syrup and salt in a bowl. Stir until you have no lumps. Warm a skillet with a little butter on medium heat. Scoop out about 3 tablespoons of the mix for every pancake, and cook two or three at once. Wait for bubbles before flipping, about 2 minutes, then finish the other side for another minute to brown it. Set pancakes aside as you go. You’ll end up with 8.

Crack eggs into a big bowl, pour in milk, toss in garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth. Warm a non-stick pan and melt 1 tablespoon of butter in it on medium-low heat. Add a quarter of the egg mix and let it sit till edges set, about a minute or so. Flip it, let it cook another minute, then fold into a square. Keep doing this until you’ve got 4 little omelet squares.

Split the ground sausage into 4 portions and flatten each into a patty. Heat a skillet on medium-high, then cook patties for around 3 minutes on both sides till they’re cooked through with a browned crust. Take them out and set aside. If making bacon, use the same pan—fry until crispy, then set aside too.
