Ground Beef Casserole (Printable Version)

Loads of beef, two kinds of cheese, and thin potato slices come together for a cozy main everyone loves.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Components

01 - Fresh parsley, chopped small (if you want some on top)
02 - 60 ml milk (makes it creamier, totally up to you)
03 - 120 ml beef broth or water
04 - Salt and pepper, however much you want
05 - 0.5 teaspoon paprika
06 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
07 - 0.5 cup Parmesan, grated
08 - 1.5 cups cheddar, shredded
09 - 4 medium potatoes, slice them really thin
10 - 2 cloves garlic, chopped up tiny
11 - 1 medium onion, diced
12 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
13 - 450 g ground beef

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - If you like, toss some parsley on top before serving. Enjoy it straight out of the oven while it's hot.
02 - Take off the foil and bake another 15–20 minutes so the cheese melts, bubbles up, and those potatoes get super soft.
03 - Cover with foil and bake at 190°C for 30 minutes.
04 - Sprinkle all your cheddar and Parmesan over top, then pour the broth or water around the edges. If you want it extra creamy, pour over some milk.
05 - Lay out the cooked beef in your dish, then stack those potato slices evenly over the top. Dust it all with salt, pepper, Italian herbs, and paprika.
06 - Toss in the onions and garlic with the beef, keep stirring for a few minutes until the onions look soft and clear.
07 - Heat up olive oil in your skillet on medium. Add the beef, chop it up as it cooks until all browned (about 5 to 7 minutes). Spoon off any fat if you see too much.
08 - Flip your oven to 190°C. Grab a 23x33 cm pan and grease it using a bit of oil or some cooking spray.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For less fat, cook the beef until browned and really drain off anything extra.
