Hibiscus Strawberry Lemon Drink (Printable Version)

Cool hibiscus infusion with sweet berries, zesty lemon, and just enough sweetness.

# What You'll Need:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 2 cups water
02 - 2 hibiscus tea bags or 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
03 - ½ cup strawberries
04 - ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
05 - 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup, add more or less to your liking

→ Optional Garnishes

06 - Strawberry slices
07 - Lemon wedges
08 - Mint sprigs

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Boil water in a kettle. Take it off the heat and drop in hibiscus tea bags or dried flowers. Let sit for 5-7 minutes. Take out the tea bags or filter out the flowers. Set aside to cool down.
02 - Cut and rinse strawberries. Toss them in a blender with ¼ cup of the cooled tea. Whizz until smooth. If you want it extra smooth, pour through a fine mesh strainer or bag.
03 - Pour the rest of the cooled tea into a big pitcher. Add the strawberry mix, lemon juice and maple syrup. Give it a good stir. Taste and add more syrup if you want it sweeter or more lemon if you like it tangy.
04 - Fill glasses with ice and pour your drink over. Top with strawberry slices, lemon bits and mint if you feel fancy. Drink up and cool down!

# Additional Notes:

01 - You can make the tea 2-3 days before and keep it in the fridge to cut down on prep.
