01 -
Toss the beef, egg, onions, garlic powder, breadcrumbs, plus a pinch of salt and pepper into your big bowl. Stir it all up till you don't see dry breadcrumbs anymore.
02 -
Take that mix and break it into four parts. Shape each one into thick, oval burgers, about two centimeters tall.
03 -
Pour oil into a big pan and let it get hot over medium-high. Put the patties in, brown both sides four minutes each, then pull them out and put 'em aside.
04 -
Turn the heat to medium. Drop in the flour to that same pan and stir it about a minute or so, till it starts to smell toasty.
05 -
Grab your whisk, slowly add beef broth while scraping up those tasty browned bits. Splash some Worcestershire in too if you want. Let it bubble for a few minutes so it thickens up just a bit.
06 -
Drop the browned burgers back into your gravy, ladle some on top, then let everything gently bubble on low for 5 minutes so the flavors come together.
07 -
Throw some chopped parsley on top and enjoy while it's hot. It's awesome with mashed potatoes or some fluffy rice.
