Dig into cheesy green beans baked with crispy tater tots for an easy, happy crowd-pleaser.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Components

01 - 28 ounces frozen tater tots
02 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
03 - 2 cups French's fried onions
04 - 16 ounces canned cut green beans, drained
05 - 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
06 - 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/2 cup whole milk
10 - 10.5 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Take the hot dish out and let it cool a little before scooping or serving up.
02 - Pop the dish in your oven and cook for about 35-40 minutes, until the tater tots are toasted and everything's hot and bubbly.
03 - Line up the frozen tater tots across the top so they cover the whole thing in one layer.
04 - Evenly scatter the shredded cheese mix right on top of the beans and onions.
05 - Pour the green bean and onion mix into your greased baking dish and spread it out so it covers the whole bottom.
06 - Mix the green beans (already drained!) and fried onions into your bowl and make sure everything’s coated well with the soup blend.
07 - Whisk salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder into the mix until you don't see any lumps and it's all smooth.
08 - Stir together the condensed mushroom soup and milk in a large bowl till it looks nice and smooth.
09 - Crank your oven up to 400°F (or 204°C) and wait until it's heated through.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Use low-sodium soup and cut back on the fried onions if you want to make it lighter.
02 - You can toss in cooked ground turkey or beef under the green beans to bump up the protein.
