01 -
Chop mozzarella string cheese into small, bite-sized chunks.
02 -
Crack eggs into a bowl and beat them well. Pour in the milk and mix everything together.
03 -
Get three separate bowls ready in this order: flour first, egg mixture second, and breadcrumbs last.
04 -
Take each cheese chunk and first roll it in flour, then dunk in egg mix, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Put them on a plate when done.
05 -
Pour about 2 inches of veggie oil in a skillet and heat until it reaches 350°F (180°C). You can check if it's hot enough by putting a wooden spoon in - if bubbles form around it, you're good to go.
06 -
Put some paper towels on a plate for later.
07 -
Drop 5-7 cheese pieces into the hot oil at once. Keep them apart so they don't stick together. Let them cook for around 30 seconds until they turn golden brown.
08 -
Scoop out the fried cheese bites with a slotted spoon and put them on your paper towel plate to soak up extra oil.
09 -
Keep cooking all your cheese pieces in small batches. Eat them right away while they're hot, with pasta sauce or just by themselves.
