Pour olive oil into a big pan over medium heat. Toss in the onion slices and keep stirring for about 10 to 12 minutes until they look golden and sweet.

Mix in the chopped garlic and cook it for 1 to 2 minutes until you can smell it nicely.

Throw the ground beef in and cook it well. Keep breaking it up into small bits while it browns all over.

Pour off extra fat from the pan. Mix in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Let it cook together for 5 minutes so the flavors blend.

While your beef mix simmers, get the burger buns toasted till they’re golden and crisp.

Spoon plenty of the beef and onion mix onto each bun bottom. Add shredded Swiss cheese on top and cover with the bun top. Sprinkle some parsley if you want.
