Punchy and tangy BBQ made with Dr Pepper, bold enough for meats or grilled veggies.

# What You'll Need:

→ Sauce Base

01 - 1 cup ketchup
02 - 1 cup Dr. Pepper
03 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
04 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
05 - 1 tablespoon onion powder
06 - 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
07 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
08 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
09 - Black pepper to taste
10 - Salt to taste
11 - 1 tablespoon garlic powder

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Toss ketchup, Dr. Pepper, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, smoked paprika, a little salt, some black pepper, and garlic powder into your saucepan.
02 - Set the saucepan on medium heat and keep stirring now and then till it comes to a good boil.
03 - Turn the heat way down and let it gently bubble for 20 to 30 minutes. Give it a stir every so often and watch for it to thicken how you like.
04 - Give it a quick taste. Add more salt or pepper if you think it needs a bit more.
05 - Take it off the burner, let it cool off, then pop it in an airtight container. Stick it in the fridge and it'll be good for about a week.

# Additional Notes:

01 - If you want some extra kick, just toss in a pinch of cayenne or a little hot sauce.
02 - Play around with the brown sugar or vinegar if you want it sweeter or with a bit more zing.
03 - Goes awesome with anything grilled or just as a tasty dip. Try it out!
