04 - 4 garlic cloves, crushed
05 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
08 - 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, finely grated

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Set oven to 200°C on broil setting and allow to fully preheat.
02 - Add potatoes to a large pot of salted water. Bring to a boil, cover, and cook for 30–35 minutes until fork-tender. Drain thoroughly.
03 - Grease a large baking sheet with olive oil spray. Place potatoes on sheet and gently flatten each with a potato masher into thick disks.
04 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter, crushed garlic, and chopped parsley.
05 - Drizzle garlic butter mixture over each potato. Season evenly with salt and black pepper.
06 - Mist potatoes lightly with olive oil spray and broil for 10–15 minutes until surfaces are golden and crisp.
07 - Remove tray from oven, sprinkle potatoes with grated Parmesan, and broil again for 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted and lightly golden.
08 - Transfer potatoes to a serving platter. Garnish with remaining parsley and a pinch of salt if desired. Serve immediately while hot.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For extra crispiness, ensure potatoes are fully drained before baking, and avoid overcrowding the tray.
