Strawberry Agua de Fresa (Printable Version)

Sweet strawberries mix with creamy milk in a cool drink that's perfect when it's hot outside.

# What You'll Need:

→ Base

01 - 1.4 litres chilled water
02 - 120 ml condensed milk, sweetened
03 - 450 g strawberries, cleaned and stems off
04 - 355 ml canned evaporated milk

→ For Serving

05 - Ice cubes
06 - 75 g strawberries, cut into slices

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Grab a glass, toss in some sliced strawberries and ice, then pour in your pink drink. Enjoy it right away.
02 - Taste your mix. If it's not sweet enough, splash in more condensed milk or a bit of sugar until it’s just right for you.
03 - Once everything is mixed, pour in the rest of the cold water and give it a good stir.
04 - Next, pour in the condensed milk and evaporated milk. Stir it around so you don’t have any streaks left.
05 - If you want a smoother drink, run your blended strawberry mix through a mesh strainer into your pitcher. Or skip this step if you like it a little chunky.
06 - Start by popping the cleaned strawberries into a blender with about 480 ml of water. Let it whirl on high until it’s totally smooth, about a minute or two.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Skip dropping ice in your main pitcher to keep the flavors strong—just add it when you pour into each glass.
02 - Make it lighter by using honey or stevia instead of the condensed milk if you want less sugar.
03 - Go for super ripe strawberries for the sweetest flavor, and you probably won’t need much extra sugar.
04 - Frozen berries totally work, just blend them where they're fully smooth since they'll take a bit longer.
