04 - 1 teaspoon paprika with smoky flavor
05 - Salt and pepper, add as you like
06 - 2 tablespoons oil from olives

→ For the Rice

07 - 1 cup white rice with long grains
08 - 2 cups broth made from chicken
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

→ For the Creamy Sauce

10 - 2 tablespoons butter without salt
11 - 2 tablespoons flour for all uses
12 - 1 1/2 cups milk (whole)
13 - 1/2 cup broth from chicken
14 - 1/2 teaspoon powdered garlic
15 - 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
16 - 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded up
17 - 1/2 cup cheese from Parmesan grated finely
18 - Chopped fresh parsley for topping

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Mix the powdered garlic, onion, smoky paprika, salt, and pepper on your chicken breasts. Pour oil in a big pan and heat it up medium-high. Brown the chicken about 4-5 minutes each side till they look golden. Take them out and put aside.
02 - Pour chicken broth and salt in a pot and let it boil. Put in your rice, turn down the heat, cover it, and let it cook for 15-18 minutes until soft and the water's gone. Fluff it up and set it aside.
03 - Using the same pan from the chicken, melt your butter on medium. Add flour and stir for 1-2 minutes till it's a bit golden. Slowly pour in milk and broth while you keep stirring to avoid lumps. Add the garlic powder, thyme, and both cheeses. Let it cook 3-4 minutes till it gets thick and the cheese melts.
04 - Put chicken back in the pan and cover it with your creamy sauce. Pop a lid on and let it bubble gently for 10 minutes so the chicken cooks through and gets tender.
05 - Put some rice on each plate, add your saucy chicken on top, and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve it right away while it's hot.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Toss in some cooked mushrooms or sweet onions to make the sauce even tastier.
02 - Want it creamier? Just let your sauce simmer a bit longer or throw in some extra cheese.
03 - Try brown rice instead if you want, but you'll need to cook it around 40 minutes.
