Cheese Salami Rolls (Printable Version)

Chivey cheese and salami rolled up for bite-size snacks. So good for get-togethers or just hanging out.

# What You'll Need:

→ Optional Garnish and Accompaniment

01 - Pretzel sticks for snacking
02 - Pitted green olives, perfect for topping

→ Wrap

03 - 12 slices of your favorite salami (try Genoa or another kind, about 3 inches wide)

→ Filling

04 - 8 ounces of cream cheese, let it get soft
05 - 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 2 teaspoons dried chives
08 - Grind in black pepper, as much as you like

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Set your salami roll ups onto a plate with pretzel sticks nearby. Enjoy right away or pop them in the fridge until you want them.
02 - If you want, poke a green olive on top of each roll with the toothpick. Tastes good and looks cute too.
03 - Start rolling each salami from one end so the filling gets tucked inside. Use a toothpick to keep everything together.
04 - Use a spoon to scoop some of the cream cheese mix onto every salami slice. Smooth it out so all but the very edge is covered.
05 - Line up those salami slices flat on your board or table so you’re set to get assembling.
06 - Toss the soft cream cheese in a bowl. Add your chives, onion flakes, garlic powder, and some black pepper. Stir it really well until it’s nice and creamy.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Swap in whipped Greek yogurt or a light cheese spread if you want something a bit lighter.
02 - Toss in herbs like some parsley or dill to change up the flavor.
03 - Craving heat? Mix in a few chopped jalapeños with your filling.
