Sloppy Joe Toast (Printable Version)

Crisp garlic bread gets piled with juicy beef and gooey cheddar. There’s a tangy kick, too. Great for sharing with friends.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 115 grams cheddar, grated
02 - 8 slices frozen garlic bread
03 - 60 ml ketchup
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
06 - 12 grams brown sugar
07 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
08 - 1 teaspoon yellow mustard, ready to use
09 - 227 grams canned tomato sauce
10 - 120 grams diced yellow onion
11 - 1 pound ground beef

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Put frozen garlic bread on your baking tray. Pile the meaty mix over each piece and cover with lots of cheddar. Pop it all into a hot oven at 204°C (400°F) for 10–15 minutes. You want the bread nice and warm and the cheese gooey.
02 - Pour in tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire, sugar, and both powders. Stir it up, then turn down the heat. Let everything cook a bit until it tastes rich and blended.
03 - Set a skillet on medium-high. Toss in your beef and onion bits. Cook, stirring, till the meat loses its pink color and onions soften. Spoon out any extra fat once it’s cooked.

# Additional Notes:

01 - If the cheese's browning too quick but your toast’s still cold, just lay some foil over the top and finish baking until the whole thing's hot.
