Set your oven to 400°F (205°C) and let butter soften. Cut the tops off garlic heads, add a little olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Wrap them up in foil and bake for 40-50 mins until they're soft and golden.

Take the garlic out and let it cool down. Turn your oven down to 350°F (175°C).

Put the soft butter in a bowl. Add your chopped herbs, parmesan, spicy chili paste, some salt and pepper. Squeeze the cooled garlic cloves out of their skins into the bowl and mix everything up well.

Cut your bread into small rounds and put them on a baking sheet with parchment.

Smear the flavored butter mix on each bread slice and sprinkle more parmesan on top if you'd like. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 mins until the edges get crispy but the middle stays soft, and the butter melts nicely.

Pull them out of the oven, maybe add more parmesan, and enjoy while they're hot.
