This creamy honey butter sauce hugs Cajun chicken and pasta for a bold dinner you'll want on repeat.

# What You'll Need:

→ Pasta

01 - 225g fettuccine or any wide pasta, your pick

→ Dairy

02 - 120ml heavy cream

→ Sweeteners

03 - 2 tablespoons honey

→ Aromatics

04 - 2 garlic cloves, chopped up small

→ Fats

05 - 1 tbsp olive oil
06 - 60g regular butter

→ Poultry

07 - 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces

→ Liquids

08 - Splash of hot pasta water (if you need it)

→ Seasonings

09 - 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
10 - Salt to your liking
11 - Fresh cracked black pepper, up to you

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Fill up a big pot with water, salt it well, then let it boil. Toss in your noodles and cook till they’re just firm enough. Drain the water but hold back about half a cup for later.
02 - Put the chicken bites in a bowl. Pour in Cajun spices, salt, and some pepper. Mix so everything’s good and coated.
03 - Heat oil in a large pan. Cook your spiced chicken until it’s nice and browned all over—give it 6–8 minutes. Move it out of the pan and let it hang out while you keep cooking.
04 - Still on medium heat, drop in the butter and melt it. Dump in the garlic and let it get fragrant—about 30 seconds.
05 - Squeeze in the honey next and stir it around while it bubbles for a bit.
06 - Tip all your cream into the garlicky mix. Stir and let it gently cook through for a few minutes till it thickens and looks glossy.
07 - Now slide the cooked chicken and its juices into the pan. Mix around so everything’s covered in sauce.
08 - Toss your cooked pasta right into the skillet. If things seem too thick, drizzle in some of that saved cooking water and toss until it feels just right.
09 - Spoon everything onto plates while it’s fresh and steamy. Top with parsley or chopped green onions if you like a pop of color.

# Additional Notes:

01 - If your sauce ever feels too dry, toss in a splash of the pasta water to loosen things up.
02 - Buy a good Cajun mix, but know they all taste a bit different—choose the one you love for best flavor.
