Pineapple Brown Sugar Wings (Printable Version)

Sticky, sweet wings glazed up with pineapple, brown sugar, honey, and soy. They’re the best for sharing or snacking.

# What You'll Need:

→ Wings

01 - 2 pounds chicken wings

→ Sauce

02 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
03 - 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
04 - 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
05 - 2 tablespoons honey
06 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
07 - 1/2 cup pineapple juice
08 - 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

→ Thickener (optional)

09 - 1 tablespoon water
10 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch

→ Garnish

11 - 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
12 - 2 tablespoons chopped green onions

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Once the wings are out, put them on a big plate. Toss green onions and sesame seeds all over just before digging in.
02 - Lather the cooked wings with sauce. Slide them back in the oven until everything looks glossy—about 10 minutes does the trick.
03 - Pop the wings, spread out on your baking tray, into the oven. Flip ‘em at the halfway point. They’ll need to bake for 30 minutes.
04 - If you want your sauce stickier, blend water and cornstarch till smooth. Pour that mix in while the sauce’s on the stove, letting it bubble for a minute or two.
05 - Toss brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and pepper flakes together in a pot. Let it heat up and bubble gently for around 5 minutes, stirring now and then.
06 - Fire up the oven to 400°F (200°C). Get parchment paper spread over your big baking pan.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Want that skin extra crunchy? Blot the wings dry with a towel before baking.
