# What You'll Need:

→ Fritter Batter

01 - 240 grams Honeycrisp apples, peeled and chopped up small (about 2 medium)
02 - 120 milliliters unsweetened applesauce
03 - 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 50 grams granulated sugar
06 - 57 grams unsalted butter, melted
07 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
08 - 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
09 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
10 - 190 grams all-purpose flour
11 - Nonstick spray for your pan

→ Apple Glaze

12 - 100 milliliters apple juice or cider
13 - 240 grams powdered sugar

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Turn your oven up to 200°C. Spray a baking pan so your bites don’t stick.
02 - In a big bowl, whisk the melted butter and sugar together. Add the egg next, stir it in well, then pour in applesauce and vanilla. Mix until you’ve got a smooth base.
03 - Take a separate bowl. Toss in flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Blend everything with a whisk so it’s all mixed up.
04 - Now dump the dry mix into the big bowl with your wet stuff. Stir until it looks even, then fold in your little apple bits so they’re tucked in everywhere.
05 - Scoop out one tablespoon of dough at a time onto your sheet. Keep ’em spaced out. Bake for 10 minutes, pull the tray out. Flip oven to broil, turn it to high.
06 - While the bites are baking, mix the apple juice or cider into your powdered sugar until it makes a pourable glaze.
07 - Give each fritter bite a quick glaze brush, let the extra run off. Slide the pan back in and broil for 2-4 minutes, spinning the tray every minute so nothing burns. Watch them closely.
08 - Once they’re out, brush the rest of your glaze on top. Let the bites sit for around 15 minutes till the tops feel set.

# Additional Notes:

01 - If you’re making these ahead, keep cooled fritter bites in an airtight box at room temp for 2 days, or in the fridge up to a week. Warm them up again for best results.
