Air Fryer Zucchini, Low Cal (Printable Version)

Crunchy zucchini fries get cooked with barely any oil in the air fryer, giving you a fun, lighter swap for regular fries.

# What You'll Need:

→ Zucchini Sticks

01 - 2 or 3 medium zucchinis, fresh
02 - 1 or 2 tbsp olive oil or a quick spray of nonstick oil
03 - Salt, add as much as you like
04 - Cracked pepper, toss on as you like
05 - Optional: 2 tbsp finely shredded Parmesan

→ Coating Picks (pick one)

06 - Garlic Parm Style: mix garlic powder, Parmesan, breadcrumbs
07 - Kickin': chili powder, paprika, and salt
08 - Garden: dried rosemary or thyme

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it warm for 3 to 5 minutes first.
02 - Give your zucchinis a wash and dry, then chop into thin strips for fries or little rounds for chips. Whatever you’re into.
03 - Sprinkle salt generously over the cuts. Hang out for 10-15 minutes. Then blot them dry with some paper towels so they’re not soggy.
04 - Throw your zucchini strips in a bowl with olive oil (or spray them). Add pepper and whatever spice blend you picked.
05 - Lay the pieces down in the fryer basket, don’t pile ‘em up. Cook for about 10–12 minutes, give them a shake halfway so they crisp up all over and look golden.
06 - Take those fries out while they’re hot. Enjoy with a dip you like best.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Salting then drying makes your fries extra crisp. Don’t skip it.
02 - If the basket's full, cook in a few rounds so everything turns out nicely browned.
03 - Leftovers? Air fry at 300°F (150°C) for 2–3 minutes to get them warm and crispy again.
