Peri peri wings cooked in the air fryer till super crunchy, tossed in punchy, tangy sauce. Best snack for any crowd.

# What You'll Need:

→ Chicken Wings

01 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
02 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
03 - 1-1/4 pounds chicken wing pieces (about a dozen)
04 - 1/3 cup cornstarch

→ Peri Peri Sauce

05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1-1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
08 - 2 teaspoons ground peri peri pepper
09 - 2 tablespoons vinegar
10 - 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
11 - 3 tablespoons Louisiana-style cayenne pepper sauce
12 - 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Once the wings are hot, right away pop them in a big bowl. Throw in the peri peri sauce you made and toss till everything's coated nice and even. Dig in straight away.
02 - Spread out your wings in one layer on the air fryer tray. Cook them at 390°F (199°C). Every ten minutes, flip them over. After 35 to 40 minutes, they should be crisp and browned all over.
03 - Blot any wetness off the chicken parts. Dust them with black pepper and salt. Toss them in cornstarch until they're lightly covered—just shake off anything extra.
04 - In a bowl, dump in the melted butter, cayenne pepper sauce, fresh lemon juice, vinegar, peri peri pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and a bit of salt. Mix it up really well and leave it for later.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Wings come out even crunchier if you get them totally dry before rolling them in cornstarch.
